Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is a political advisor from America who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. As a member of the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy director of communications (2009-2011); White House deputy director(2009-2011) and spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015; and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki was a contributor to CNN's political coverage of 2017 to 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was then appointed the press secretary deputy for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. From 2005 until 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned to politics in 2012 and was the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 campaign. [20] Psaki was named as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11 13. Her appointment at the Department of State fueled speculation that she would replace White House Press Secretary Jay Carney when he left the White House. However, on May 30th the 30th of May, 2014 it was announced Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She was appointed communications director at the White House and continued to perform this role until the end of the year in 2015.
