Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello was born April 18, 1967. She is an American actor and producer. Her film credits include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013), and Lights Out (2016). In the television world, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998) and also in additional starring roles, including Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013. She also starred as Michelle McBride on the first season of the series Goliath in 2016 and from 2017 to 2021 as the Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane on the series NCIS. Bello was the daughter of Kathy Bello (a teacher and school nurse) and Joe Bello (a contractor). She was born in Norristown on the 18th of April 1967. Her field of study was political sciences at Villanova University. Bello continued her training in acting through several New York theater productions after she completed her degree. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son who is named Jackson. Bello admitted in November 2013 that she was having an same-sex relationship with Clare Munn, her former lover. She released a book titled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the labels we give ourselves (Dey Street Books April 28 in 2015).
